Airplanes: One way in, one way out

So I'm boarding a flight, and as anybody who has flown before knows, it takes a very long time for everybody to get onto the plane, put their luggage where it needs to be, wait for people to stop blocking the aisle, stand up and let someone take the window seat, et cetera, et cetera. It takes almost the same amount of time to get off the plane, though it takes a little less time because everyone's anxious to get out.
Planes have one entrance and one exit. That's not very efficient. Why can't there be two connections between the plane and the airport, like a lot of modern-day buses?

One organization strategy

At the bottom of the text box for posting, there's this nifty box where you can put your own labels. For example, I put "metablog" as a label for my post because it's about the blog itself. I already labeled some other ones, but we might want to put some thought into the tagging system.

Just to try this out

So I was thinking. Why not categorize things by genre in the title, since this is probably going to be a list of ideas, and then posting the idea underneath? For instance-

Place a heavy, flat piece of metal over the pressure pads at your local traffic light, in the direction you usually go to work, to ensure a more likely green light.
